INFORM Project

What does the INFORM Project hope to Achieve?

This project provides funding to develop a website portal, which will promote the services of infrastructure/second-tier organisations to frontline voluntary and community organisations.

Why has this project been developed?

Voluntary and community sector organisations in Birmingham are often not as aware as they could be of the range of services they can access to support and enhance their effectiveness. The Consortium is particularly keen to use this web portal as a way to increase the take up of development support by front line voluntary & community organisations - especially those who have traditionally not accessed services, including Black and Minority Ethnic led organisations and newly emerging groups.

It is envisaged that the portal will:

  • improve access to information about infrastructure support services available to voluntary and community sector organizations in Birmingham
  • improve signposting between services
  • facilitate two way communication between the Consortium and the broader sector.

Who is the lead agency for Inform?

The lead organisation for the INFORM Project is St. Paul's Community Development Trust.
