Strategic aims (2008-2014)
 
1. Third sector organisations have equitable access to consistent, skilled and professional support, which enables their development and reflects the changing Third sector strategic environment.
 
2. Third sector organisations actively engage and represent their stakeholders, communities and areas of expertise and their voice is heard and utilized in strategic planning, service design and quality assurance.
 
3. Third sector organisations are skilled, capable and respected partners and suppliers of services and activities to the public sector.
 
4. Deliverers of infrastructure support share their skills and experience with each other to strengthen the quality, range, currency and relevancy of 3rd sector support.
 
5. Third sector organisations increase the visibility, accessibility and diversity of volunteering opportunities and the management of the volunteering experience is enhanced in order that levels of volunteering in Birmingham are increased.
 
6. Third sector organisations are increasingly sustainable and enterprising in their approach.
