Development Agencies Network

Current Work

The Local Development Agencies and BVSC are currently running the Model2Fit - one of the ChangeUp Consortium's six commissioned projects. Model2Fit is bringing together development workers from a variety of different organisations to address issues that affect our ability to give effective support to voluntary and community groups. The development workers bring a range of experience and skills and knowledge of working with diverse organisations. What will come out of the project is a clearer collective definition of what a good service looks like and what is required to deliver it. This will make it easier for groups to understand what level of support they might get and for potential funders to see the nature, the importance and the need for 'first-stop' support near to where it's needed and delivered by voluntary organisations. For more information on Model2Fit please contact Mike Fitzsimmons at BVSC on 0121 678 8866 or MikeF@bvsc.org
